-20 and i still shoot.

As soon as I woke up this morning, I knew I needed to get my ass in gear and head to the end of the road we live on. We live just on the outskirts of Antigonish on a perfect little road that switches from pavement to dirt (which keeps me grounded as I grew up on a gravel road so it always makes me happy… Except when it gets my car filthy) luckily we still live on the pavement part. At the end of the road, there is an abandoned home that has so much character. Luke and I often drive to the end of the road to watch sunsets or the odd meteor shower that happens. It’s a calming place.

I hopped into my ultimately stubborn winter beater which was reluctant to start. Drove down the 2km icy road to my “calm spot” and let the events unfold. The moon was just about to go away for the day and the sun was just coming over the crest of the snow covered field.

  1. Love the shot of the house, would look good framed! Ice on the window is cool too.
