Over the weekend, I travelled with some students to Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. I couldn’t imagine a better weekend as far as timing. The apple blossoms were in full force and the weather was P E R F E C T! With the sun out and barely a black fly in sight, I couldn’t have enjoyed myself more. I took a few random drives around but to one place in particular. When you take the exit to Wolfville off the TCH 101, you immediately see a large orchard of soon to be apples in full blossom. I couldn’t help but take a few stops out here. My only issue was that I kept going at the wrong time in the afternoon. The sun was much too bright for most of the shots, but otherwise, I was quite happy with them. I also travelled to a place near Canning where I found a neat little fishing wharf. The low tide and washed up fishing boats added a beautiful touch to the red sand.
On Monday, I spent most of the day in Guysborough. On my way home, I got some great shots in the Intervale of more apple blossoms except this time, I managed to catch them at the right time of day! Here’s my shots. Let me know what you think 🙂
