morning infrastructure.

I hit the pavement around 5-5:30 most mornings. If I time it just right, I get to watch the sun climb behind the skyscrapers to rise for the day. I’m a big fan of a good sunrise or sunset. They’re like snowflakes; there will never be an identical one to the one you see in front of you. They’re one of those things you have to slow down and really take in knowing it will be your first and last and in what seems to be the blink of an eye, it’s gone!

I don’t usually like to take my Nikon on my runs for obvious reasons but I have a few times and the results have been worth it, despite the annoyance of carrying the camera – it’s not exactly compact or light. On this particular morning, the results didn’t really jump out at me but it was still nice to get out and snap a few frames.
