I held mini sessions over the weekend. It hadn’t gone as well as other mini session weekends in the past. It rained Saturday, prompting quick rescheduling which resulted in a few dropouts but that’s something that’s out of my hands! I did things a little differently this time. Usually, to maximize profit, I remain in one place and let my clients come to me. On Sunday, I ended up at four different locations. Just like in my previous blog, I’ve been talking quite a bit about challenging myself – this weekend was no different! Between trying to make it to all of my sessions on time, there was also the battle of changing lighting and scenery. I’m extremely happy with the results of the minis as well as my productivity levels.

I managed to sneak breakfast in after my first session and finished editing a session while eating, then managed to edit another session in my car waiting on my fourth session of the day! It left me a lot less to do when I finally got home that evening.

All in all, I’m INCREDIBLY happy with the results. We had a late spring in Nova Scotia and honestly, the leaves only came out last week but the trees are starting to look full, adding more colour to the backgrounds of my photos. I had wonderful clients – two new families and two previous families which makes four things that made me super proud! I can’t express enough how grateful I am to have amazing clients year after year! It’s the little things in life 🙂
