bloomin’ buds.

Spring in Nova Scotia is making an appearance beneath all the rain and fog. The trees are beginning to bud, the lobster season has opened, and the studs are off my car! For those who do live in Nova Scotia close to the ocean, you will know what I mean when I say the air has changed. To those who don’t, imagine the sweet smell of salt water together with a nice morning dew. It smells like you are being hugged by the ocean as soon as you step outside. It’s smells better than Christmas, warm cookies out of the stove & vanilla candles ALL TOGETHER!

Below are a few photos that illustrate how Spring makes me feel in the Antigonish/Guysbrough area. I guess you’ll just have to come to Nova Scotia to smell the ocean in the Spring though, because you are missing out!
