It’s now Wednesday evening and I’m finally writing about the weekend. You’d think that not having a job would mean I would have all the time in the world to blog and process photos but it really doesn’t. Over the weekend I was slammed busy. Saturday evening I went fishing, Sunday was filled with beach hopping between Caloundra and Noosa where I closely studied surfers. I’m considering trying it one of these days. That evening was filled with more fishing and lots of food. Monday was Australia Day – a day where we had a few wobbly pops, basked in the pool all day and jammed out to the Triple J top 100 countdown and really, Tuesday was a slug day of which we spent half of on the lovely public transit from Brisbane back to Noosa.
I’ve barely had time to breathe, let alone actually take and edit photos. I had taken my cameras everywhere I went but I really hadn’t used it – it was only used for weight training if nothing else. I find there are two types of people; people who constantly take photos of everything and then ones who rarely take photos of the important things. I’m falling into the second category more and more. I really haven’t captured the touristy things here and recently realized my Australia gallery will be quite disappointing when I go home and try to show people all the cool things I took in. I’m a work in progress.
All that aside however, the photos at the top of the post was taken around 4:30am on Australia Day – yes, I went back to sleep after this but I dare say it was worth it!
