December fifth in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Sunny and highs of 15. Crazy isn’t it. Days like today are pretty special. While most people are working or immersing themselves in Christmas shopping, I went for a stroll around town and went to the beach to watch the sunset. I have been so grateful for the past few days that I have had off. My day job isn’t one that someone could be envious of. I get blamed for many things, yelled at or occasionally cursed out. There is the odd day where I deal with happy people who appreciate what I do to keep a roof over my head and food in my belly and remain pleasant.
These days off, though few, have gave me the down time that I so greatly needed. I have had time to catch up on so much and I have had time to spend with the ones the matter most, as well as myself. I could ramble on and on about the things I have caught up on such as episodes of “Say Yes! To The Dress” but I won’t.
I went window shopping. The best kind of shopping!
I met a dog. And his man. I don’t know why everyone mixes it up. It doesn’t always have to be a “man and his dog” this dog owned a man. Mmhmm. You read that right.
The dog’s man.
My friend and I enjoyed the beach and a sunset. Life really is that good.
A cat tails guts.
This is the ultimate sunset. Every sunset is different. I would love to watch every single one for as long as I live. I will do my best.
The end of a very, very great day is spent drinking hot chocolate, eating deep and delicious chocolate cake, candy cane ice cream and decorating the midget christmas tree with the roommies. Like I said, life really is that good.
